After a break in 2025—we thought it was about time to bring back our bumper weekend of ska punk music! Yep, that’s right, Friday 11th September—Sunday 13th September, we’ll be moving into Firebug to host a metric tonne of our favourite ska punk and reggae acts!
First up—we have one of the original bands from the American third-wave ska movement, New York’s finest The Toasters!
Famed for the ever-catchy “Don’t Let The Bastards Grind You Down“, these legends of ska and ska punk are gonna absolutely blow our minds, we’re sure!
A bit about The Toasters:
New York City’s pioneering SKA band The Toasters are going strong 45 years later, with a series of tours spanning North America to Europe in 2026. They are set to bring their sound to various cities as part of their 45 Years in SKA Tour, delivering the high-energy, brass-driven sound that has made them legends of the genre.

Closing out Half Drunk Club 2026, is ska-tinged punk rockers Millie Manders and the Shut Up! A bit about Millie:
In troubled times, we need artists who will shine a light in the dark, and Millie Manders is emerging as a voice of her generation. Her excellent second album, Wake Up, Shut Up, Work, released on 2 August, is exactly the kind of tonic we need right now. It’s chock-full of ideas, opinions and huge hooks, marinated in teeth-rattling riffs and ska-tinged punk, led by Millie’s huge, emotive, clarion vocal.
